How to play

Each question is timed — agree or disagree. When everyone is done, the room is split into groups, with the topics each group can talk about.

Running a round

  1. The host picks the questions on the home page — open a category to tick individual ones, or write your own on the spot. Eight to ten works best, and they are locked once the game starts.
  2. Once the code and QR code appear, everyone joins from their own phone, picks an avatar and types a name. No download, no sign-up.
  3. Ten seconds per question: agree (◯) or disagree (✕). You can change your answer until time runs out, then it locks. A question you miss simply does not count towards your matches — it is not marked wrong.
  4. When time is up the room stops on the tally, showing who picked which side, and the host presses Next. After the last question the groups appear automatically.

How the grouping works

  • Two people match on the share of questions they both answered the same way. There are no right answers here, so there is no score and nothing to get wrong.
  • For ranking, answers are weighted by how uncommon they are: a question where nine in ten picked the same side tells you almost nothing, while two people both picking the rare side really does mean something.
  • The host only picks how many groups; the size of each one is worked out from who actually shows up. Grouping starts from the closest pair, then adds whoever fits the group best until it is full. Everyone lands in a group — nobody is left over. Under 5 players there are no groups, just your closest matches.
